This post is for  informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Amanda (Zullo) Gaffney, a 1991 graduate of Kingston High School - and her family - will appear on “The Dr. Oz Show” on Thursday.

The Hurley native resides in Fairfield, Conn., with her husband, Tim, and their two children. The family was chosen to participate in a segment about incorporating healthy ingredients in family meals.

A Dr. Oz production crew first filmed at their home; the family was then invited to the show’s studio in New York City for a live taping a few weeks ago.

The show airs at 2 p.m. on Albany’s WNYT-TV13.

Gaffney is the daughter of Barbara Zullo of Hurley and the late Emil Zullo.
