The rise and fall of 'Untitled Head'

One of the sculptures in the Kingston Sculpture Biennial is called "Untitled Head." It stands alongside others on the site of the former King's Inn on Broadway in Kingston, and has not fared well with time. Not only has the sculpture fallen from its intended position, but it's also suffered major damage, a terrible metaphor or illustration of some of the city's less pleasurable features.

But how we interpret and what we do with the fall of "Untitled Head" is what really matters. Do we complain and blame others, whomever they might be? Do we pick up the pieces and soldier on? Do we leave it be?
